This is my new spinning wheel. It was handmade and came from Cordoba, Argentina. Can you tell me anything about it? I know how to make it do the basics, but I don’t know much else!

Deborah, your new wheel is great. Believe me, nothing will gave you more satisfaction than spinning AND knitting a sweater. My hint is to not start with anything too ambitious. Be sure that the product of your spinning is good enough to wear before you get out the needles. Have fun! I can’t wait to hear about your Spinning Wheel adventures. Your podcast is witty and I have really enjoyed the first two episodes. Spin on!
